Natosha Washington's "Donk" Dance |
Conditioning, technique, improv, learning a dance in one day, and the limo ride to the 2 day Ririe-Woodbury High School Workshop... lots of dance and lots of fun, even amongst the injuries (or surgeries) that were brought in or appeared. I hope the dancers will keep up with their personal training and conditioning on their own time to keep their bodies strong and prevent further injury.
Good job to Anne Marit who didn't give up and walk, but ran all they way, each time we went out to do cardio!
Right on men for sticking with us amongst a bunch of crazy girls, finding ways to be masculine and taking the test of continual lifts and catches of the girls (wrestling room). Speaking in terms of motivation, Bradyrian sure keeps us going strong and positive!
Way to go Alyssa Lone who just performed in "Momentum" as one of the few "youngsters" in this professional performance which included past and present Ririe-Woodbury "Step Up" dancers.
Good Luck to Brittany LeSueur who was voted to choreograph the Shakespeare Ensemble Dance and Nyahka Greer who was voted to choreograph the Shakespeare Duo/Trio Dance. Keep working hard!
We will miss those that left us on company, but will use these difficult opportunities to utilize our "creative problem solving" abilities to revamp our choreography to be even better than before. Let us all work together and put our choreographer classes on :)
